Congratulations @Galactian! You have a new WR on A_06!
Suggestion:
- Multiple laps would be cool, especially when people make custom tracks. You could have the car teleport back to the start when crossing the finish line, and in custom tracks we could be able to set the amount of laps needed to finish (with a max of 6 or something).
UPDATE: DinoDev - Need for Speed
Improvements
- Slightly adjusted “Submit Track” placement
- Play Test display order increased
Added
- You can now choose how many laps you want the track to be.
- When you submit a track it will now show your name (I already had this in, but I forgot to connect a single output)
The thumbnail keeps changing to just a blank screen for some reason, has this happened to anyone else?
Also, if you want to be pinged just ask
To make things easier if you don’t want to go to the top of the page:
Laps can be viewed in the bottom left corner above the speed of the car
Because multiple laps would mean it would take longer, it is recommended that you make shorter maps

Well, the main link has 30 clicks, and this one has way less, so “I took the road less traveled by, and it made all the difference” Robert Frost
I’m testing different track sprites, which do you guys like best? (I’ll add an option to switch between either one, I just want feedback on how it looks)

Sick glow up
ty, the checkpoints, start, and finish, also have a small change. The engine off also has a much smoother look to it
You’re welcome! Additionally, the shading on the road tracks now reminds me of how I put blocks of Sea Lanterns under the village pathways in my Minecraft world to light the paths up at night (I am a Minecraft village entrepreneur and have never burned down a single village in my entire life).
Alpaca Raceway has reached 300 plays! Not really a big deal but just wanted to say thank you to everyone for playing
The steering wheel object looks a bit too smooth, tbh.
I like the updated sprites, but the no-steer isn’t as round as it used to be. It looks kind of weird in my opinion. But everything else looks good
Also, I don’t really think racing is quite fair…
If I go in a straight line, I get different times…
Sometimes I get a fast start, sometimes I get a slow start.
Not sure what’s happening, but I just thought I’d let you know, @CodeAlpaca
The updated version looks more polished, nice work ![]()

It is always the same speed if you click at the same time. But there is a moment when the car spawns in, and if you hold accelerate the car will remember that speed, so when it can move it will get a boost forward.
@PrismaticTurtle Your track has been added to the Community Tracks list!
