I believe they mean an option on the collision block that triggers if it’s touching anything but a specific designated object

You can try using Collision to any NAND selected Collision type.

This may not work for your game if you have complex object families already, but here’s another way that should work:
- make an object called “collidable” or whatever
- make all objects you want to be collidable to be children of that
