a nautical themed rouquelike
the game play would consist of killing enemies, collecting items, then activating five obelisks, each obelisk would increase the games difficulty a fair amount, once all five are activated you would be able to advance to the final boss and beat the game
i thinking of changing the games art style to use pixel size 2 instead of pixel size 1

Pixel size one is harder to get shading right and animations look choppier. That is why everyone uses pixel size two instead. In my game Freedom Fluffball you can see why pixel size one is bad because its shaded garbage and the animations look weird.
I use pixel size one for a little 3d look (and personally, I have no comment on mixels because I’d rather go with whatever fits with me, even if it has to take a mixel)
