In my own personal opinion, I think simpler is better when doing noses (of course, I mostly do cartoon style)
The example is probably not the best since I do better on paper and I was in a rush, but you could probably get an idea

I totally get what you mean. My art styles noses are based on the ones in JJK, it’s pretty much just the bare necessities to look like a semi realistic nose. Sometimes I’ll just straight up do a dot nose if I’m feeling lazy enough and it still works for a cartoony style like this.
