I just added boxes that you can run into, since I finally figured out how to make multiple 2.5D objects. Next is an enemy car : )
The layering doesn’t work, and I can’t actually do anything about that yet

Alright, I added a speed-o-meter with a little bar that moves up and down, the red number represents your speed, and the pink-ish number represents your gear.
To switch from 1st to 2nd gear you need to be going at least 3b/s (blocks per second, I think)
and to switch from 2nd to 3rd you need to be going at least 5b/s
Pressing forwards also gives you a very slight boost forwards, so you can speed up faster after crashi- I mean uh running into something… pff what was I saying

I have seen Amazon Prime drivers driving backwards full speed down the street because they apparently missed a stop somewhere, and they probably have to pee really badly and ran out of empty bottles.
