Here’s some context. SPOILERS TO THE COMIC
Bulletproof (or Zandale) was brother’s with Tyrone, who was his twin. Tyrone was an inventor. He grew up to gain lots of awards and was known as a genius. His parents loved him more than they loved Zandale. But Zandale knew something their parents didn’t. Tyrone was obsessed with superheroes.
Soon, Tyrone invited Zandale for a cup of coffee at his home. The twins were talking, but Tyrone was talking more. About superheroes. After a few seconds, Zandale had his drink and all of a sudden passed out.
Then Zandale woke up attached to some machine. Tyrone had figured out how to give himself superpowers. Zandale was his guinea pig. Tyrone activated the machine and it did work, but he himself got decimated in the process.
So Zandale was alone, and decided to impersonate Tyrone whilst still being himself. So his parents would never see Zandale and Tyrone together at once, as they were now the same person.
Zandale tells his parents about the entire situation at the beginning of Volume 18, but they don’t believe him. They think Zandale killed Tyrone, they love Tyrone that much. Zandale’s girlfriend tries to shut up Zandale’s mom with a frying pan but accidentally kills her. Then his dad get’s pissed and tries to kill Zandale’s girlfriend, Zandale tried to stop his dad but accidentally kills him in the process.
So, Zandale puts his parents dead bodies in their car and pushes it off the cliff.
Then they attend his parents funeral and act like nothing happened. Insane.

It was directly on top of the head. Zandale’s mom was being an annoying ■■■■■ so his girlfriend mistakenly hit his mom too hard

The parents favored over Tyrone more, it’s one of those “I don’t have a favorite” (but they obviously do) type parents.
