So how small with the player be? One pixel? This will be a very small game if the entire level is just 32 by 32.
the player is a action hero with sickles that sli ce things in halfs
and he as well is 32/32
Ok, so the player cannot move? I do not understand. You want the entire top-down level to be 32 by 32, correct? And you want the top-down player to be 32 by 32 also, no? Meaning that the player is as large as the entire level, right?
all of my stuff will be 32/32
You didnāt answer any of my questions. Do you want each tile to be 32 by 32? Also, everything being that large will be largely annoying. Why not just have a one block player?
#1 the player can move #2 yes #3 yes
So you want the player to cover-up the entire map that will take hours to draw. Where are you going with this? The player can just walk away from the map. This is confusing. How does a game work when the player is as large as the level?
The level is 32 by 32 in blocks and the player is 32 by 32 in pixels?
no every thing is pixels!!!
Then the level and the player are both one block?
Do you mean tile? not level?
yes
Ok, you couldāve just said that in the beginning.
Let me get this straight:
You want a set of tiles, using one object, that are winter-themed?
im already doneā¦
Good.
Open with caution
Now I got you to do your own artā¦
If youāre going to use one object, you need to have an advanced tile-map system. Do you know how to make that?
Itās coding, so it canāt be discussed on here. I think JR01 has an example though.
Wait⦠what the heck. What even is this.
