mild suggestions for design and not art
It looks freakin’ amazing, but the [lack of] colors make it look rather similar to JR01, Deadly Smile, TheFlowingLabThatFlowsALab, and maybe even more people’s profile pictures; so I would recommend changing a few of the sections here and there or even adding a gradient over or under it for shading since you like detail.
You can use Pixilart.com to recolor large parts of it much more easily by using Pixilart’s bucket tool’s “all similar colors” option. If you haven’t done already and want to recolor only part of the civet white, or if u want to use multiple colors, you can separate the civet’s components into layers and then use the “similar colors” option.

I’m pretty sure the skin has hair as well as a second layer of hair to give it a better 3D effect, because of the two layers, the perspective makes it look like there’s a smaller pixel size when your actually looking at the hair on the skin itself, and not the second layer.
