As long as you get the shading right, you can make braids look cool. I remember trying, then just quitting, lol. Nice job!
Reminds me a bit of the Beans from among us. Just with the Visor and pet. Good job on the scenery.

It’s mostly just draw little lines coming from one side and then little lines coming from the other so you get kinda the rounded effect on each bit.
