What’s ‘Earthbound’?

Oh! He’s pretty cute!

Earthbound was an old rpg game that was on the Super Nintendo.
It also inspired Undertale,

WHAT?
YOU CALL YOURSELF “OLD”?

EARTHBOUND IS AN AWESOME RPG THAT I HAVEN’T EVEN PLAYED!
I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT EARTHBOUND BUT IT LOOKS SICK AS HELL!

(sorry if you found this offensive I wasn’t trying to be offensive please don’t kill me)

Do you live under a rock.

okay, but do you know the other indie rpg who inspired undertale?

When you say “other indie rpg” wouldn’t that be implying Earthbound is an indie game?

no, im referring to a french ame called “OFF” papyrus’s design was based off one of the characters from OFF.

OFF is one of my favorite games ever

No… The rock live under me.

That’d mean that you’re fully exposed to everything, because of being ontop of the rock, but obviously you aren’t, so your message makes 0 sense.

Not really a JRPG, sure it’s an RPG, but I wouldn’t really call it a JRPG.

But the J stands for Japanese

True, but at the same time, JRPGs usually have a lot of specific tropes to them such as fantastical settings and stuff.

Thanks all for the explanation!

Please move further discussion on the topic of JRPGs to the OTC though, as it is off-topic.

Thanks!
