Enemies not flipping correctly after collision. Help please.

my enemies are intended to just be moving obstacles but even while using “Collision -any” and “Flip - Togggle” they only turn once after they collide with a wall/grass and then just keep flipping on the spot after the second collision. I have slowed them down but it still didn’t help.
What am I doing wrong?

Make sure the collision only triggers when it hits a side

I just have collision left and right selected. I have tried two different collision boxes -one set to right only and the other left only but this hasn’t solved my problem either. I can get my enemie to flip after collision once, on the return it just gets stuck in place juddering. I have no idea how I could have made this happen but I have.

I have also changed the terrain and collision object but that also didn’t improve results. Any more advice would be appreciated, I’m beginning to feel like I’m the one slamming in to a wall no end :slight_smile:


Literally XD. Try adding a timer to the collision. That might help. But it slows down the enemy like crazy. Meaning you can stay in the path for another full second
