Why is there a block called depression? If you are suffering from depression you should call Kids Help Phone immediately.

its the point of the game try looking into more to understand the story if you’re lazy then here:

The Story is that its about a man who is depressed and needs help, he gets only some flashes of happiness, the depression block is there because when hes happy for only a bit it will dissapear showing parts of his depression are going away
