Who the heck is Morton the Monkey? (Sorry for being off-topic).
He’s from one of the original Flowlab games created by Grazer as a test. It’s pretty infamous among the people that know of it, the absolute peak of Flowlab, it’s a must-play. I’ll probably do a speedrun due to its historical purposes (And I’ll legitimately grind the game for the best possible time)
OO Thats Great! CAnt wait for the Future of The game
That makes me feel special.
MORTON MONKEY FOREVER!
the game got funky on me
How so?
Yeah what happened? Details on what happened will allow me to track down the bug
Also game now has 40 people on the leaderboard , which is only about 20 completions a month, but I’m still glad because the game takes ~40-90 minutes to finish.
The next update will come soon, got a decent amount of behind the scenes work done last Sat/Sun. This next Saturday I should be done with the new card system, though it may take till Sunday because I’m having to create 4 new systems.
After the base gameplay is finished, I’ll work on some more gamemodes as Hong creates more Cards/Heroes/Enemies, and then the gamemode will be released at the same time that the modes come out. Once that’s complete, the bulk of the game is finished besides just adding more and more content. So at that point I’ll see if Hong could maybe make some custom backgrounds for the battles so that they’re a bit more unique and higher quality. (As well as adding more particle effects and whatnot to increase the juice and overall polish)
Once the update is out I’ll need to adjust the score to add a Hero to the game, 2000 may be too difficult/easy after the update. (Hopefully it’s roughly the same, though I think rn it should be around 1850 anyways).
I still didn’t beat it…
you WILL get it some time buddy
I’ve still got to beat this game…
It makes me happy you played the game for nearly 2 hours woo tyty
i was deleting a few old saves, and after i finished deleting them all except one, the first save (with all my full progress on it) created a second save , with the same amount of time on it, and when i checked out this second save, it had like 300 coins already (my real save only had 20) but i didnt have access to the characters and stuff. I deleted the weird second save, which ended up ruining my first, i wasnt able to click on characters, all my cards were that one monkey card yall were talking about last time, and i wasnt able to play any levels at all.
dang i dont know if that is good or bad
Huh. Sounds like the deletion process is getting messed up somehow.
The cards not working makes absolutely no sense, It’s literally just a Starting Value. That’s corruption that the system just doesn’t make. If there was no data for it, I’d expect to see either an ID of the first card, or the last one (1-56), not Morton who is something like 43.
@Goliad What did you have on the original save? I can try to give you back whatever you lost.
I’ll look into fixing the save system to be better, I was already thinking of redoing it, but originally decided against it due to people having prior saves. However, given that save corruption has happened twice now (that I know of), I’ll add it when I have time. Players will be forced to update to the new saves before being able to continue, so I will need to be absolutely certain that all data transfers properly, meaning might take a bit to roll out the update.
■■■■, hope the save system gets fixed. anyways im fine with losing it all, i could just play it all again later
just in case you misunderstood: The area that holds all the cards you want to use in your battle was all turned into the monkey card thing, not the entire list of cards on the side,
Yeah, that’s what I assumed. That’s a really strange type of corruption just due to the number 43 required to make that happen.
