Oof, I apologize for the bug.
I just played through the whole game for the first time (ik it’s funny bc it’s our game and I never finished it until now) and I didn’t experience any bugs luckily.
My favorite combo:
Angel statue is good, so is golden apple, and slash —> my favorite cards.

If you get the chance try out this combo (in this order). Then as long as you play the right cards (such as battle plans at start if you have the chance), you’ll pop off.

Like skill wise or is it a bug?
If it’s skill wise, try a new combo and buy some cards. If you’re out of coins, you can farm them by doing the first or second battle again.
