hello so I want it so that the closer you are to the light the more normal colored your player is but the farther you are the darker your player is and I cant use proximitys for this help pls

You can use proximity (not good for performance on big games) or compare the X and Y of both objects.

thx not only does that help but it also saved my game from extreme amount of lag
