Homing missle staying on a specific target

So I was creating a missile for Flowlab Game Creator - Super Blocky Racing All-Stars (Test Build) and when a racer releases a missle it’s supposed to target the player in front of them. My intended result is for the missile to target that same racer they locked on first, but instead, if another racer passes them while the missile is active, it targets them instead. Anyone know a fix for this?

There pathing for the missile is inside any of the rocket objects and the player/ai objects named “homing attach”.

Send a message to the player in front (raycast to it, then send message to last raycast)
then that player, once it gets the message, starts sending it’s X,Y to the missile, and it seeks to those coords.

Just an idea…
