I think it was originally suggested when it first became an indie feature since it hadn’t been a feature previously, but that’s been a while ago, so I can see how it’s not under any effect anymore and only indie exclusive.

I think it has to do with storage storing a text file of their previous name

More of just not spamming name changes with accounts, doesnt help with sql requests. The forums also updates with the data.

The question I have with the entire topic is: If you are going to name yourself that and request a name change moments later then why’d you do it in the first place. It’s just common sense also don’t let it be the business’s fault but rather your’s

  2. You don’t have to pay to make your game amazing
  3. You could go to either itch.io or New grounds to upload your game’s index.html
  4. Also if you’re broke you’d have to have a friend or someone’s computer you’re using

It’s hard to listen to you with a straight face (Hamilton reference). All of these things are easily answered so really it’s just a rant on why Flowlab should end up losing money and risk shutdown. To be honest I really am confused why this whole rant on no indie even exists. Also my game “Platformer Game of Giant Insanity” has less plays or likes than your’s and I’m still told it’s great. Honestly why are you even trying to be mad about indie. Not everyone is you. This made me so heated because you’re voting that Flowlab possibly gets shut down only so you get your ways. Sure it sucks to not have indie. I had to bear that for months but I got used to it. But if it’s money you’re looking for make sprites and email grazer to put it up on flowlab.shop and hope someone finds your sprite bundle and buys it. Especially trying to claim you are homeless and broke. I know a way if you are homeless and broke. The fact that you are texting on a device with absolute internet connection.

You should be thankful you can even code on a cool site like this. So clearly I don’t want to hear that indie costs money. Have you ever heard of Gdevelop? They do that too except its not this simple. Just to raise money. So I do not see or want to know what you are getting at here because it is worthless and in other words is just plain stupid. I’m not going to be the guy to ever agree on a case like this. If you want indie free go use a different coding software like Godot, Unreal, or Unity. Don’t treat the indie subscription like a tea tax. And make a game that’s SO AMAZING and prove why flowlab’s indie is a waste of money. I flagged your post. While flowlab’s name change being a paywall is stupid (I’ll admit that) it’s just a small business don’t get too mad. P.S I’m not sorry for what I said

Hey, I totally understand. You’re right, I’m not actually homeless, I just don’t have enough money to afford it. I am really sorry for all that I put into this. I’m really truly sorry. I am just a kid. You did the right thing flagging this. Thank you for your bold move and courage to stand up for what’s right. Now that I have the worst reputation imaginable here, last thing I can do is apologize and say, your game is pretty great too. I never meant any offense to anyone on here, I had no idea how big of a problem this would cause. I really mean it, I am sorry, and you guys can continue to be mad at me, but all I ask for is some bit of forgiveness. Yeah, it is kinda a bummer that they changed it to pay, and I know that it is amazing that there is something out here that’s this easy and that is fun, creative, etc. I know this company needs money, and that it was selfish for me to try and fight it, especially in two different topics I made. @grazer I hope you can also forgive me for my selfishness and how rude and ungrateful I was. I am truly sorry. @CorruptedSword , thank you for your help, showing me how rude I was. I don’t know how to fully share my full apology, since there is so much I should say.
