When the grenade exlpodes the explosion does not hit the play but will go through.
so how do i deal with this

I made a animtion for the grenade when it explodes but the problem is when it starts animation it doesnt hurt the play

Make it spawn an explosion, not using an animation (using a separate object)

Basically what galactian is saying you could take that animation and turn it into a block instead so when evere the (object) gets destroyed and there is suppost to be an explosion it will (spawn) the explosion instead of playing a explosion animation…
