I can't jump!!

I am making my sprite move automaticlly using the always, number then volocity method. Then when I play the level and I hit the jump button, I don’t JUMP!! Please help me! I have been testing out for a while and I don’t see what I did wrong here

Never EVER use the forward command. It will not allow jumping

Forward is good for top down games and that’s pretty much it
