so i have been doing some 3d modeling, and the platform i use has it so that if you are using a mouse, you can click and hold the middle button (the scroll wheel) to move around the model. could something similar be implemented in flowlab sprite creation? it would be amazing for detail work.
Why would there be a need for this it’s 2d
scroll wheel to move around the sprite. the thing you use move canvas for
I think the Dukinator is referring to the Hand tool that you use in the sprite editor, except that you can temporarily toggle it on when you hold down the middle mouse button.
yes yes yes yes yes yes yesssssss
I thought you wanted to rotate the image around like xyz coords sorry…
its alright, i should have specified more
The release from earlier today adds a kind of similar feature, but it uses the space bar. Spacebar to drag works in the level editor and sprite editor.
it isnt working. (also could tou do both? i feel the mouse is a little more convenient)
I just tested it, and it’s working OK for me?
I can potentially add the mouse button too, but it will be a little while before there is another update, probably.
Yup, the spacebar works. @TheDukinator, this feature is already in effect, and we didn’t read the patch notes fully. Thanks Grazer!
it isnt working for me
Have you tried clicking and dragging while holding the spacebar down?
that just makes it more complicated
