I am not sure what ray cast does, is, and how it can help me make my games better. Honestly, I don’t know anything about the ray cast function except the name and the exceptional difficulty of using it. If you can, please help with all the things I am not good with on ray cast, as youtube will not be able to help

Basically its like an invisible bar that sticks to the object. Raycast will detect if bar has hit or miss the object its looking for.
Better to use as like:
Always --> Cast

So it is basically like a do this when the barrier either miss or hit
any object or the one that you select
You can do both.
Using an always will let you know when it starts missing again, great for switches.
