how would you do this in the sprite editor because i remember a while ago there was an alpha option
Alpha is in the properties section of the behaviours
it was last year and yes i know it is a behavior as well

Pick a color. Then go onto that color picking thing (not the bar this: 
)
And there is the alpha (if u needed an alpha thing in the sprite)
