I need help with my game, please!

I am making a game similar to 2048. If you have ever played the 2048 tile game, then you have an idea of what I want to do. I need to be able to put two matching tiles together to create a new tile with a higher number while the original two tiles disappear.

Right now, when I put two tiles together, the new tile is created, but one of the originals still remains.

Here is a link to my game, what I have so far: http://www.flowlab.io/game/play/1134955

I hope this gives you an idea of what I am trying to do. Thank you for your help.

This was a tricky one but I found a solution.
What was happening is that when you set a collision for itself, only one object’s collision will activate.
I found 2 solutions for this, but use the bottom solution for your game.

  1. To delete both of the same objects after collision, use a message.

  2. If you have a game with more than 2 of the same objects and need to delete to collision objects only.
[the timer is on a delay of 2 and collision was set to what it was]

@ me if you have any questions or need any help.

Thank you so much, JR 01! I will try this after school and let you know how it goes.

I still need the original two tiles to disappear, but one is still remaining even with the examples. Can you please give me one more screenshot? Thank you.

This is the link to my game: https://flowlab.io/game/view/1134955. Right now, the tiles match and create a new one, but one of the original tiles is left behind. I want both of the 2s to disappear when they touch, and be replaced by a 4, like you see in the game 2048. I really hope you can help me.

No matter what I do, all 2’s turn into 4’s and I haven’t changed anything.
It is spawning two 4’s though, that could be fixed by disconnecting the emit outside the bundle at the top.

Ok, I will give that a try. I might be reading something wrong, but I will use your suggestion. Thank you.

It still won’t work. One day when I tried, the fourth time hundreds of 4-tiles spawned. Now when I try, there is still a 2 remaining. Can you PLEASE give me another screenshot?

It works for me, could it be your computer?
Older computer can have a hard time running Flash.

Try the HTML5 version too, that also works for me @TommyPL.
