You see i am copy and pasting galactian’s code from his draw a line example but its not working instead of drawing a line it increases its x value on both sides, not just one.

You want to make sure the sprite is the correct size.
I think I did the same thing and that was my issue.

But what do you mean by make sure the sprite is the correct size? Do you mean in the spriter editor or in the behaivors?
