I mean, couldn’t people just make it black? The point is mainly to watermark non-indie account games (in a prettier looking way) if I’m correct. Tis why the flowlab logo on the navigation bar has a shadow when the background is white. I think what indie’s get out of it is pretty fair.
Then again, this is also coming from an indie…
That was the point though - just to have a replaceable image that doesn’t draw attention.
Yes, you can just delete the image very easily (clicking on it opens the sprite editor)
Sort of. Free games are already watermarked, so that’s not really changing much. This update is really just to unify the loading screens and give indie users the ability to make customized loading/splash screens.
Will this work for the limited time standard plan?
because I planned on keeping that, but I like this feature.
If you mean the Starter plan, then yes - that upgrade includes all editor features.
So pretty much you are allowing for an easier splashy text screen
Oh yes my bad, thank you for this gift oh great Grazer
Kinda makes me want to shoot my freinds
Any idea what you have next for flowlab?
Wait hold on I will make a post for this
So I saw the feature is out, where do we go to customize it?
Go to levels, and on the bottom right there should be a button to edit the loading screen
Didn’t even know that was a thing
It happened while you were likely inactive
