Inventory System

I’m trying to make a resident evil game in a Zelda Rpg style, but I cant make the inventory. I want it to be an open and closeable menu where you can add items to a bar you can access in game if that makes since. I’m fairly inexperienced in flowlab, so does anyone know know how to make this?

I realize that,but I want it to a menu you can open to access a large inventory,almost like a pause menu of sorts.

that’s just as basic as messaging the ui to change alpha when you click a button or key
