Is google play the only thing flowlab is allowed on?`

Im kinda curios if flowlab could be on xbox or playstation because i have seen some pretty decent games that maybe console worthy, and also i dont like how limited google play is(that its only on chromebook) and if i made a good game i would want it on playstation.

So you can export for PC or Mac and distribute your game however you like (Itch.io, Steam, whatever). You can export for iOS and distribute on the Apple App Store for iPhones or iPads. You can export for Android devices and distribute via the Play store for any android device - not just Chromebooks.

Consoles are kind of a different story, but they have been discussed a few times here on the forums in the past. Here’s what I said last time:

  1. Console games. This is interesting. So the biggest hurdle here is not actually technical. The major console manufacturers (Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo) all have very strict requirements about who can develop for their platforms.

They also tend to have strict requirements restricting the sharing of information or code, making it difficult to get info about the process. This also prevents me from just making an “export for Switch” or whatever button on the website, since that stuff cannot be made public.

So, the issue here is that you would have to get approved as a developer through the console folks, pay a hefty fee to get into the dev program and get access to a development console, and then be able to have access to try and test your game on a console.
