okay, try this:
player behavior:
Collision (with enemy)-message (to life counter)
life counter behavior:
mailbox (write whatever you sent with the player)- go to animations (have 4 frames, the first showing 3 hearts, second 2, third 1, and fourth none)
animations play- send message to player to restart the level using next level
animations done- send message to player to restart the game
remember to keep the life counter between levels, and when it’s all gone restart it
