So I am working on a game and am trying to add music from youtube, however the music doesn’t play I have all the stuff in order but for some reason the music just doesn’t play.
You have to link directly to a “.mp3” file. What is the url you are trying to use?
Probably a YouTube.com/v=?000000000 link.
Upload an .mp3 to a music hosting site that supports direct linking, then copy and paste the http://website.ooo/0000000/XXXXXXX.mp3 link to your game sound object.
Yep - that’s a video, not an mp3. You’ll have to find an mp3 file of the song you want. The good news is that is Keven Macleod, who is gracious enough to allow the free use of many of his songs, which he posts to his own site here: http://incompetech.com/music/
Maybe poke around in there and see if that is one of the free songs he makes available.
