I’m having a hard time with the audio in my game staying persistent as I go from level to level/restart my current level. Is there a way to use a global command or something of the sort to make my audio keep going along through the game flow changing? Thanks in advance.
What audio specifically is looping? Also, please link your game so we can hepp more.
Set your object to “keep between levels”
That would work between levels, but it would not work for level restart unless you can choose two at once.
Wait, nevermind about it not working for level restart, it did end up working. Thank you!
I’m glad that helped. This is a new feature that was only applied a few weeks ago!
You’re welcome! Here’s more advice:
Don’t do this:
People will just think you don’t have any more levels. Think of a way to make it difficult without doing this.
Also, level three is literally impossible. Your player can’t fit through the cracks to get the real coin. Also, think of another way to make it troll without all this fake coin nonsense. If your player has to go into the editor to beat the game, it isn’t fun.
Also, better controls. Ik its a troll game, but you want to trick the audience into thinking its easy.
Inspiration (made by your very own @meburningslime !):
Thank you! Also, you are looking at the wrong way to finish level 3, you can use the 2 block tube on the side to get down and jump through the fake block. I will take your advice and make it easier (although still a bit of a troll game) Thank you again!
Do you know how to use the camera block? You could use this for the player. The tunnel could have some blocks which are simply not solid, making it seem like a blocked exit.
I recommend the game be ragey in this way.
Make it the player’s fault. The difference between bad game design and dark souls is that one is impossible because the game is unexpected in features and one is completely doable, but it’s impossible for most because the players can’t beat it. The more the player fails, the more he wants to beat his previous record. The more the game fails, the more the player wants to quit.
Basically, make it seem like it’s possible, that there’s still hope.
