@LaurenMathis - You have seemed to have gotten the foundation of a game settled, and all that seems to need some fixing is some of the animation timings and speeds. That and maybe improve on some of the graphics and make them even more original in the other levels that you used the included sprites. Other than designed, nice work for a first game!
try telling that to all the people who use the given assets in there games. Its ok to use assets as long as your slowly learning how to do pixel art.
Well you got a base of a game there.
Why collect the things when you can just rush to the door? Maybe make it so you can’t progress unless you collected everything?
