sounds a little better
I may not post a poem today/or the next few days because I really want to focus more on a project I’m working on, as well as some stuff I want to do for Alpaca Raceway. Thank you everyone for enjoying these poems.
i’ve heard of alpaca raceway but never played it
Understandable, have a great game development
So I wrote a poem today because I got bored and it turned out really nicely. It’s been a while so I’m not sure who would want to be pinged by this.
I’m going to post it tomorrow morning so if you want to see it you know where to find it
Have a good day/night
- Ping me for your work of art
- Glad you’re writing again, I don’t want to be pinged, but I may still look at it

I’ll also try to make a poem weekly (or more often) because I honestly enjoy writing these, but I also seem to run out of time or forget about it.
I may? More like I will.
Based and “I don’t need pings to immediately read a topic” pilled
For me
Smile for me, just for a little while
It makes me feel safe and calm
Say a word for me, even a whisper
It makes me smile and warms my heart
Laugh for me, even just a chuckle
It makes my day and night
Dance for me, even just a step
It makes me want to dance and live for you
Give a kiss for me, even to someone else
It makes me happy to see you happy
that was great!
Rem Death Note be like (great poem btw)
View from above
I’m sorry if the world became something it shouldn’t
I’m sorry if you’re cold floating in endless space
I’m sorry if time is frozen, I tried to make it move but couldn’t
I’m sorry if the universe feels stuck in place
I regret you didn’t tell me something sooner
Instead I overstayed my welcome into the lunar
I would have left you alone in peace
Instead I disrupted when I should have released
It’s really not as bad as I make it seem
I’m over exaggerating to tell a theme
Just know I was trying to help too
And I’ll never say a word that is not true.
Dying World
I feel hollow like a shell
But I hope you’re doing well
You see happier than before
Just wish I could have done more.
I wonder if I burned this bridge
Now that I walk down it alone
I strayed too close to the ridge
Now I’ve fallen and am on my own.
The world may end today
So enjoy all of yesterday
Maybe there’s a future tomorrow
Of a world without sorrow
And maybe there’s a version of this
Where everything didn’t go amiss.
I just hope this isn’t the end
I just hope there’s a world left to mend.
is this about ur crush…
Huh? No not at all lol, I wrote something similar before in like 2018(?) before and decided to finish it
You wanted to fight in the army
To join in the fray
To bring the world harmony
In a game you shouldn’t play
You hold weapons of death
To bring the end of someone’s breath
To kill when there’s no reset
In a game where it isn’t preset
To devour another’s life
All for glory and strife
It’s pitiful and pathetic
There’s nothing about it that’s poetic
You can try and justify the dead
To all the damaged in the head
But they won’t accept the ones lost
It just wasn’t worth the cost
Currently trying to write some classic sounding Christmas poems !!!
Christmas Cat
Singing inspired all to carol
All but a lone thing that was feral,
It sat on an old rugged mat
For this is the story of the Christmas Cat.
It was a time to be merry
Except for this thing that was hairy.
People throughout were happy and jolly,
All but this sad cat that was treated with folly
It had no home,
It was all alone
It’s fur needed a comb,
Though it was bare to the bone.
Then one night on Christmas Eve
It truly was a time to believe.
For strolling down the streets of Britain
Was a small black little kitten,
And a large man dressed in red
Was riding on a great big sled.
He rode along with the sound of bells
Wishing London his final farewells
But on his way out of town
He saw this cat looking down
It was hungry and cold
It truly was a site to behold.
So with his heart of pure gold,
He placed this kitten inside his coat fold.
It rested there safe and warm
Even through the winter storm.
They arrived to the North Pole
Where this kitten ate from a great bowl
It fed like this for the rest of its nights
Playing in the bright Christmas lights.
Jack Frost
Deep inside his frozen halls, jagged spears formed the walls
He had a heart filled with ice, and he wasn’t all too nice
Exiled away from holidays, he spent his days in a craze
Once a year he schemed a plan, to steal the job of the big red Man.
Somewhere far away toys were being made, making him feel so betrayed
The elves built bicycles, so what if he was better at making icicles?
He did not like hot chocolate fudge, for it tasted like dirty sludge
He did not roast chestnuts on an open fire, the song is such a tire
Though he did enjoy nipping at the nose of the many things he froze.
So on Christmas Eve the Red Man spread holly jolly, but it would end in such folly
For his plan was set into motion, to receive his long awaited promotion
Jack knew exactly were he’d be, stuffing presents below the green tree
When Santa came to give his gift, Jack acted quick and swift
Unleashing a torrent of wind and snow, it silenced the night’s “■■ ■■ ■■…”
Santa stood covered in hues of blue, frozen into a crystalline statue.
Jack climbed now to the red sleigh, prepared for a very sneaky getaway
He tried his best not to make a noise, as he placed down the sack of toys
He counted the reindeer and found all eight, then took off before it was too late
Through the sky he crisscrossed, now people from all across would sing Jack Frost
Winter Flowjam
Once again it’s that time of year
To get the brain thinking and turn the gears
We’ll get into the flow and crown a new winner
Every year we all improve, and the edge grows ever thinner
So get ready and prepare
For the chance to enter if you dare
I wish you the best of luck with your game
And remember it’s not about the fame
But before you go ahead and skip,
I fame to give you a few Flowjam tips
Remember to add a nice thumbnail,
You wouldn’t want your game to fail!
Remember to add some movement particles
They add to the environment, or so I’ve read in an article!
Remember to add some juice with Ease
It’s a winner that will always please!
Remember to pick a name that suits it well,
Something that’s unique and rings a bell!
Focus on making it great big fun,
You don’t want players to quit before the game is done!
Keep things simple and easy to learn,
You don’t want to make the player crash and burn!
Keep your code readable and squeaky clean,
You don’t want your teammates to be mean!
And remember the main overarching theme,
“Unintended Consequences”, so take it to the extreme!
That’s all for now and I wish you luck
Just keep going and don’t get stuck!
Welcome to the 2024 Winter Flowjam!
