Ray Casting for background

@grazer I would like if objects in the background layer could have ray casting (the ray casting can be only for other objects in the background layer).

Nope. Then that would be background blocks with physics, and that would be kinda pointless.

It would not be pointless, you can use ray casting to detect other blocks around you so you can have the edge of the path automatic if it’s an animation. This may seem useless to you but for people who have the free version of flowlab (like me) this is a very useful trick making one object have multiple animations so it only takes up one of the 50 possible objects you have. Having ray casting for this allows for things like the edge of path being automatically done so you don’t have to use the position of every block to do it.

I think that this is a great idea!

Flowlab Game Creator - Jump To success this is a game someone else made, they currently have ray casting animations off, but with it on it automatically sets the edges of the blocks. (this shows how it can be used). The game has a few issues that they are fixing currently so they may change something about the ray casting.
