@grazer I think we should do a $10,000 FlowJam just for 1 time. It would attract more people to join FlowLab and getting more people to get the Indie, and school accounts, giving you more money. If you did, the FlowJam would be more challenging for some others, forcing them to work harder and use their brain more making them smarter, which is good. I hope you get this and I also posted another topic called, $10,000 Game Competition if you want to know how it works.
Just a quick question, how would it get people to join flowlab? People would need to see it, and sadly there are no large or even medium youtube channels that promote flowlab. If Grazer advertised the event that would cost even more money, I don’t think he’d make a fraction of what it cost to make the jam for the number of new people that signed up for paid accounts.

I know but people will share with other people(bc they’re really excited about it). When the people know about it, and use a lot of time making their games. Other people will wonder what they’re doing on their computer all the time and ask. They will tell them, causing them to do it too. It’ll keep going and spreading. Plus, I’ll make a vid on my Youtube channel talking about it too.

it is a lot of money but instead how about we wait and give it a few years for flowlab to get more popular and that would also give more time for advertizing and spreading the word of a possible 10,000 dollar flow jam

Why would he spend 10,000 on a game jam when he could spend that money on making the website better, or the editor better, or anything that would benefit him in the long run? It’s quite impossible.
I’m sure grazer makes well over 10k a year lol, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have bills to pay, and taxes, groceries, spending money on his family. Plenty of people make 100k a year and sometimes 10k is all they can spend outside of work and bills, and it’s usually split throughout the year so they can go on trips, afford wants, or spend a little bit on work (which is when grazer buys the flowjam rewards).
