This behavior could be very cool. An option to make certain objects, or the entire game to move in slow-motion can have some pretty incredible effects. And also changing the amount of slow-motion that can occur.

Well, frame rate drops are very different than making something move in slow-motion. Making the frame rate lower will make the game choppy and it will not look good. Additionally, the other ideas I stated making a specific object or the entire game move in slow motion will be a better addition as well.
