SPOILERS FOR SONIC 3 GO WATCH THEN COME BACK
So it finally came? I always thought It was going to be cancelled last minute, but the wait was worth it! We got a golden, no… Diamond tier movie, best in the whole year. so here are my complaints about the movie and how I would rate it out of ten
COMPLAINT YAP; well this is the part where I complain about something good, I mean its really hard to find anything to complain about in this movie. I’m not even complaining about the story or characters just the lack there of, so lets get into this thing!
#1: So when I was watching you recall the last fight, where they fight all those G.U.N bots, but why the heck wasn’t BIO HAZARD there? he was the perfect villain and plan for Gerald robotnik and sonic adventure 2, he was just amazing, and so bad ass! but they had to ruin it with the bots, but that’s really the only complain of the story I have.
#2: Ok I’m going to get into this quickly, why the hell wasn’t rouge in the story, unless we get a sonic heroes movie she isn’t, they completely ruined knuckles character arc here for me too! In Sonic adventure 1 and 2 knuckles has this arc where he learns he isn’t only supposed to be a guardian for the master emerald, but a adventurer (OH I SEE WHAT THEY DID THERE!) he was supposed to go from this tense shaky guy to this relaxed reliable dude, but rouge played a critical part in that arc for 2 (also love interest for knuckles through out the series) so not adding her there makes knuckles In this movie feel like he was thrown in there for no reason but to make more cash.
#3: Ok this is a quicky, I wanted to see maria get no scoped like in Shadow the hedgehog
#4: I need to stop saying OK, so in the movie sonic and shadow fight a lot, but you know what would’ve been cool? chaos god damn control, I really wanted to see it, Shadows character was perfect, the voice acting, the emotional scenes. EVERYTHING. its just an ability I wanted to see.
RATING: this is where I would be rating this fantastic movie, and I give it a solid 9.8/10!
