Today we are back with what is wrong with people
I installed Temu on my phone because they gave me delightful Transformers ads. They had the original G1 1985 toy of Shockwave for around $240 CAD. Comments and reviews on the product page confirmed that it wasnât the actual 1985 original, which I heard goes for $900 now. The people who bought that Shockwave toy from Temu said that it was a recent modern reissue of some sort, which can be found on eBay for approximately $90-$300.
I just found this info on TFWiki:
- "Shockwave bears the distinction of receiving a number of high-quality knockoffs, all of which known retain the electronics and some even having odd Flash Gordon-esque retools. Knowing that the rights to the mold were sold on to a company (presumably) in China, it would partially explain the frequent use the mold still gets today.
- It is also entirely possible that the knockoff âreissueâ Shockwaves sold in G1 toy packaging replicas on eBay and several Chinese websites are either produced or licensed out by the company who currently owns the rights to the mold, making them somewhat âsemi-officialâ releases mold-wise, lacking only the permission for the trademarks and packaging design use from Hasbro. If you ever needed an excuse to buy an affordable, rubber-hose-still-intact Shockwave, complete with working electronics, to fill that void in your collection without hurting your inner purist, thereâs your loophole!"
I think thatÂŽs a list that might never end.
I believe there is a little maniac pumpkin in everyone.
You are in fact quite correct. We all have the ability to write long paragraphs to reply to each other, but most choose not to, whether that be because thereâs not enough information to write a paragraph or because they simply donât wish to clog up the topic with long paragraphs. Iâm sure ManiacPumpkin would approve of John Shrekinsonâs long reply regarding G1 Transformers on Temu, and how Temu is not everything it seems to be. John Shrekinson has reminded up of the importance of fact checking, and how you should never believe anything at first glance. We should all strive to be better internet users by refusing to spread misinformation and researching topics before speaking of or sharing them with others.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Much thanks and agreement to you as well. As an additional matter of fact, I have to tell you that my mother greatly assisted me in not being fooled by Temu because she performed the common parental act of refusing to buy or let their child buy a toy, which in this case was a Generation 1 Shockwave from Transformers that turned out to actually be a modern reissue, thus truly fulfilling the phrase âRobots in disguiseâ that the Transformers are known for, as established by the original cartoonâs 1984 theme song.
As a pokemon fan, I agree.
As a non-Nintendo game player, I disagree.
My favorite game company is Nintendo
Yeah but theyâve been hating on the fans recently.
Thatâs why I donât like them. I have only spent money on 4 Nintendo things in my life, (not counting PokĂ©mon cards) and those were Mario or Pikachu toys and tickets for the Mario movie and Detective Pikachu. The main reason why I donât play Nintendo games is simply because
- I never had a Nintendo console growing up, only PS3 and Xbox One
- My dad doesnât like Nintendo mainly because they are so family friendly (he only buys full-priced video games if they are games that he likes or if theyâre brand new (Call of Duty, Far Cry [6], Uncharted etc.) with Marvelâs Spider-Man (and Miles Morales) being the only exception. Add to that every Nintendo game (outside of the Mario vs. Rabbids series) being exclusive to their consoles, and its not hard to see why I never played anything Nintendo except for a couple of Pokemon and Mario mobile games and maybe a round or two of Mario Kart DS on my best friend nhgcrâs DSi years before.
Also I like SEGA way more because my whole childhood I hated Mario games and whatnot because of the reasons above so Sonic was my favorite. I never liked Mario at all until I became a teenager. I still like SEGA more because I believe that even if their games suck, they are a much nicer company than Nintendo. You are literally allowed to make fangames, which Nintendo would probably send a missile strike to your house for. SEGA also memes their games on their social pages, and they have made them so that they are clever, funny, appropriate, and high-quality memes for all. Nintendo never does such a thing. If Nintendoâs games stopped being that good, the company would fall immediately because that and the PokĂ©mon merchandise sales numbers are the only things keeping them alive. That is the extent to which their anti-consumer behavior has reached.
I kind of think that nhgcr based the evilness of the various fictional corporations in his CubeTales games off of the likes of Nintendo. He must be feeling so betrayed right now. Nintendo is a joke to me. An unfunny one. If piracy wasnât illegal and I had a gaming PC, Iâd probably be a master Zelda player by now.
Yeah, nintendo put 2 copyright strikes on the youtube PointCrow for making complete normal videos about Breath Of The Wild
Fan games of mario:
Kiazo mario
Whereâs yoshi
My favorite Nintendo game is still Mario Kart. I have it on the Wii.
You spell it with a K. Just like how you spell Mortal Kombat with a K. This isnât just for Mario Kart specifically; as all go-karts, even in real life, have âcartâ spelled as âkartâ instead. I am giving you this information because you like to be grammatically correct. Btw I like Mario Kart too, my favorite character in Mario Kart arcade is probably Metal Mario.
