The Glorious Off Topic Channel of Destiny 3

Most sprite editors have some sort of shape selection tool, so it wouldn’t be a problem. Also, Discord is free, so unless you have something against it then there’s no reason not to get it

I think the one i’m currently using has one so that should be fine. As for Discord, I just don’t really need another online distraction right now.

I don’t have much going on, what’s up?

Nothing much. I finished my guitar lesson and I am now just sitting around. I was doing some pixel art but I can’t get a run-down look on my buildings so I gave up. What about you?

Not much, it’s going to be finals week soon so I’m bracing myself for that.

Ah, that should be “fun” for you.

Why is bro talking to himself again?

Oh that’s cool. I’ve played a bass before and they are a lot easier then a normal guitar.

Thinking that “war crime” Optimus Prime is disturbing for younger viewers.

For those who don’t know, “war crime Optimus” is what the fandom calls the version of Optimus Prime in the older live action movies, particularly the first five directed by Michael Bay. Unlike the cartoon heroic leader everyone loves and respects, this old movie version was very violent and brutal (which you can see in how he kills the main villains in Transformers 2,3, and 4), especially from the second movie onwards. In the third movie, he kills a elderly 'bot while he is pleading with Optimus to stop. That’s why while this depiction of Optimus Prime is awesome, many people don’t like him because he is so violent.

Additionally, when the original voice actor for Optimus, Peter Cullen, went to audition for the original cartoon in the 80’s, he based Optimus’ voice off his older brother who was a US army marine. Cullen’s brother told him to not make Optimus an “angry action man” because that’s not how heroes act. He told him to make his character “strong enough to be gentle”. And the Michael Bay directed version of Optimus is exactly what Peter Cullen’s brother told him not to do with the character.

I’m not very impressed by the number of posts on this topic. It is more than any other normal topic but still not as much as the OTC 2 got. Now it’s 15-25 each day. It used to be 30-100 per day on OTC 2.

We can change that.
