I think you’re missing my point. This is just a game development forums. I honestly don’t think your personal life should even be shared regardless, especially since it’s public and permanently on the internet.
I don’t go flailing around my religion or what sexuality I am, unless someone else asks me about it first. And I’ve never let it bother me that I don’t. It’s not silencing who you are, cause you’re worth a lot more than what you claim to be than to base you’re entire existence around a single belief or view that you have.

Precisely what @ManiacPumpkin has said. I have my opinions. If someone spits in my face about them, I’m not going to attack their beliefs back. We’re not even doing that to you. We’re simply asking that you keep your controversial opinions to yourself on a video game development platform and let us make games. You have real people who are hopefully willing to discuss politics in a civil manner in person. We are not in person, nor are you respecting the boundaries that have been present since before you came here. I would politely request that you refrain from the political comments, and if you cannot maintain the guidelines set by the community and the creator of the forums, then do mot comment. Thank you.
Just so you know, I certainly have had many political and civil conversations with flowlabbers, even over gender. I can respect anybody’s belief so long as they respect my right to choose to agree or disagree with it. In fact, some of the best conversations I have had are with people DMing me, just asking for my opinion and letting them share their opinions with me. It’s been an excellent exchange of ideas. It is also highly inappropriate on a public forum, which is why these conversations have remained within the DMs or outside of the forums.

I’m trying to get together some players for a Scepter Foundation Homebrewed dnd campaign that I’ve been working on. Since the world in my novel series is so expansive, just about any type of creatures and characters still work with the story, so I figured it would make an interesting game.
I had four players at one point, but before we even got character sheets going, most of the opt out or didn’t plan on playing all the way through so I’m just down to one player now. I’ve never been a dm before, but hopefully when I get more players, it’ll work out.
