There’s even a topic made by sup3r if you want to know why mixels are bad.

Honestly mixels are like using different screen resolutions at the same time, which looks pretty wierd.
When I stopped using mixels in 2022 my art honestly looked better.

Ok, but just to end off this argument,
You could use mixels like Recryptech said but like everyone says it looks unprofessional.
It could make your pixel art more detailed but when keeping your art style + pixel size consistent it makes stuff a bit tad better and when developing a game anything to make it look good even by a little bit is something you could use.
