… but you’re not supposed to kill it.

Could I be in the flowlab lore?

Oh jeez, ok. I’ll try to add all of you.

Cloud is from FF 7 I think.

The Warden does drop a Sculk Catalyst I’m pretty sure.

I know when this block is placed and is given XP (killing mobs near it) it spreads the deep dark, the biome the sculk blocks are in.

I had full netherite, with a god apple, and I managed to kill a Warden with like 4 hearts remaining. The dude has so much health, but it’s definitely possible.

I killed the warden by spamming wool almost everywhere since that stops the sensors and the shrieker from hearing you and then I started shooting my arrows at it.

I managed to kill the warden using TNT.

Yeah. After I killed it the first time, I went on my creative world and broke the blocks under it until it fell into the void, and it still took a considerable amount of time to die.

I dropped anvils on it and used TNT. I had full netherite too. It does a massive amount of damage!

Also there’s no achievement or no rewards for killing one. Like BradenS said, it’s not supposed to be killed, or at least it was intended. I do believe it was made killable on purpose so late game, you can stand a chance against one.

I had full iron while fighting against it. Mostly because I have Netheraphobia and don’t wanna lose my Diamond Sword. Fighting it may feel like it has more HP than the Ender Dragon but it has 500 HP.

Netheraphobia is not real by the way I just made it up.

Also, if you run and jump, placing wool underneath your feet, he will not hear you at all.
Keeping a stack of wool is great, especially while fleeing if need be.

Also placing wool around blocks, like chests, it blocks the noise. Same if you surround a shrieker with wool, it won’t be able to hear anything around it.

Every enemy should give loot. Also, does anyone know an easy way to find that underground city thing? I found many warden caves, but no cities.

I thought it was a boss to be killed, so I went with all of the strongest items and still barely came out alive.

Oh in the same world where I beat the warden it wasn’t even an Ancient City. It was one of the Sculk caves when you’re near one. And that world is also gone because I deleted it by accident.

Hmm… what if you built a little island above the warden, then just dropped anvils and TNT on him?

To find the city it’s under mountain ranges.

Yes and the warden gives the Sculk Catalyst. Which when a mob is killed near it makes more Sculk.

I went down to bedrock under the two nearest mountains, but all I found were some skulk caves, lush caves, and a few big caverns. I want to find a BIG lush cave, they’re so pretty.

I’ve seen players cheese the fight by using a trap door and stalagmites way up over the ancient city, and rain the stalagmites in one place. Since it makes noise when it hits the ground and breaks, the warden travels underneath of the stream and takes damage until it’s dead. If you’re high enough up, he only only hears the stalagmites hits the ground and won’t attack you.

The Sculk Caves mean you’re near an ancient city too by the way.

It would probably still hear you placing the anvils and shoot you with a sonic beam lol
