I was building a model ship, and got bored so I started fixing the broken hitch on my vintage Powermaster Optimus prime. Only for his leg to crack at the hip (on his combined mode). Since he is so old, all of the joints are super stiff and they all are ratchet joints. Meaning they click together when moved. So it just decided to break.
It’s pretty much a restoration project since I’ve already taken him apart and rebuilt him several times and he’s still missing pieces, but it’s still nice to not him break any more.
Same thing with a Star Wars Transformer I found at a thrift store. The thing was cherry when I bought him, but the plastic was so weathered that he completely crumbled when I tried transforming him. So hopefully when I get a 3D printer, I can just remake the broken parts till a point I have an entire new figure.
I’m honestly surprised I don’t have that. I must have missed a couple of days. During 2021 I was active 99% of the 365 days of a year lol. I’m pretty sure I spent 4-5 hours a day here… I was also making games though, unlike a lot of users who just chill here now (I am judging because this is a game dev. forum lol).
