In my opinion, it’s all based on what keys you use for the game.
I typically use WASD if you need a mouse for the game, such as aiming or interacting with objects in the game. That way it’s easier to rest your left hand on the keys and your right on the mouse.
For games that don’t use a mouse and strictly keys only (typically standard platformers or side scrollers), you would stick to arrow keys and some games use ZXCV for additional keys alongside arrow keys. I know a lot of the old flash adaptation of old nintendo games like Pokemon Firered or Super Mario games use ZXCV and Arrow keys since it portrays the old controller inputs better, since I think those games were just raw copies of the original.

You look like someone stepped on you, You look like corona virus and smallpox had a baby , You look like the sonic 1 glitch where he palette swaps, you look like you have 25 dolls in your room and the only reason you have them is to talk to them when there is no one else.
