I based mine off of the run and jump bundle, lol. I will also be adding dashing and an idle animation.
It used to be much worse, until I figured out a better way to determine the direction the player was facing based on the movement.
I should make a blog about state machines, that would really save a lot of effort for stuff like this.
State machines are very common, virtually every game uses them. Iām sure there are already dozens of blogs, articles, and videos discussing it.
One fault with Flowlabbers I think is that we donāt look into stuff outside our community. There are plenty of resources out there with great information
