It’s fine for a start, but if you want to make art like this I would heavily recommend learning pixel art, it takes a long time to be good at but it’s a lot more gratifying then downscaling an AI generated image.

I get the feeling, that’s why you practice! I used to trace stuff, worked in the moment, but now I’ve improved and make much better things, that feel more gratifying to complete.

I’m working on it. My job is keeping me from drawing as much pixel-art as I used to, but I try to draw at least one thing a week.

That’s good, it’s nice that you’re trying as much as you can with your time! I got a bit of an advantage because I’m at the age where I only need to deal with school, so I have more time to practice.
