Thank goodness I finally found this, been searching for it for months. Tell me this is the hardest disc menu theme/XMB music ever. Before I found this video, the only way I could hear this track was by actually turning on my PS3 and finding Mortal Kombat amidst my other games.

His sword is seemingly designed to look like a scorpion’s stinger, so I guess that’s why the handguard is missing. His sword(s) in the next few games look more traditional and have handguards, presumably because his later designs look more like a ninja and tone down the obvious scorpion motif
