The Glorious Off Topic Channel of Destiny 5

Minecraft Java is a specific platform of Minecraft, which mostly includes laptop/pc players.

There’s also Bedrock Edition, which is for Xbox (but was later added to pc), Minecraft Pocket Edition (mobile), Minecraft PlayStation Edition (for PlayStation) and I think there’s a few others like Education edition, but no one speaks of those.

Pocket Edition technically no longer exists since MCBE is the MC edition used on the phones now.

I don’t keep track of the mobile Minecraft version since I run an iPhone 6 so I can’t even run Minecraft anyway, lol.

I know Java and Bedrock are the most common. Although a large portion prefer Java because of it’s easy modding capability and I’ve heard a lot of bad things about Bedrock, mostly it being buggy, but Bedrock is supposed to be the basis of Minecraft.

Java red stone is actually super buggy, but that’s what makes it work so well with large scale contraptions. Bedrock’s red stone system is correct, but since you are limited since the system is more strict to how it should operate, Java is more preferable.
I have yet to play Bedrock myself so I can’t lean from one or the other. I know Mebslime plays Bedrock enjoys it so it can’t be as bad as what I hear, lol.

Well you just kind of said:

“Isn’t Java Minecraft…”

and I don’t think anyone understood what you meant.

I don’t know what this is

He said that he’s playing Minecraft Java edition, typically a platform for PC devices.
There’s other platforms of Minecraft.

I’m assuming “All of Fabric 7” is either a mod or a data pack which adds additional content to the game. Since Java is about the easiest platform to add mods.

I looked it up, it is indeed a Modpack.

Since I’m starting up a YT channel soon (mostly Flowlab Devlogs and Gaming) I’m thinking of just making a video entirely based on just showing how good Bedrock could be. Most people think the only skins and mods you get for Bedrock are from the marketplace and that’s totally false. There are sites like mcpedl.com that even has it’s own app and is a place where people can make mods for bedrock using https://bridge-core.app/ (coding with JSON) and www.blockbench.net (modeling) and upload them to MCPEDL where you could download files that can be opened from Minecraft and played on Minecraft.

Most JAVA players don’t know much about MCBE which really sucks because they normally focus on the bad parts of MCBE like how Microsoft is allowing the Marketplace creators to make emotes which result with the griddy and other stuff in MCBE.

I knew you could mod Bedrock, but I’ve never owned an Xbox so I grew up playing Java until Microsoft added it to pc a few years ago.

Java is easy to mod from my experience, I just download an app such as Curse Forge and all the mods are listed there.

I typically don’t like playing modded, but since Minecraft is super boring and they keep adding kind of dumb updates, mods are becoming more enjoyable.

Edgy is like emo, like if a thriteen year old sees a decapitation video and is like “yeh watching this makes me a cool loner wolf pack leader alpha sigma”

I can definitely tell we’re from two different generations because my definition of an edgy 13 year old is not the same as yours, lol.

It’s kind of sad how yours is actually true for today in age.

I think the worse type of Bedrock is the console version. This is because it’s very limited. Heck, since MCPEDL is also an app even mobile users can mod Bedrock. I especially don’t like the Switch version of MCBE since you literally can’t join any servers except the 5 of them they give you. And also MCBE is easier to add mods too I think because it’s also official unlike in MCJE. You just get the file, click on it using your file manager and open with Minecraft. I was told adding mods to MCJE is like moving the mod file somewhere and downloading a bunch of other things such as Optifine and as someone who has never added mods to Java it sounds a bit overwhelming.

Up until recently i played on xbox, so i almost never had any mods, so i had to rely on commands and creativity

Mine was pretty normal until highschool. Most of my friend group started claiming social trends and changing their sexual identity. Although I don’t think they were really devoted to it, since I’ve never seen them in a relationship such as they claim, but I started distancing myself from them and started hanging out with kids in the grades below me since we shared similar beliefs.
