I need a little help.
I want the platformer enemy in my game to flip in the direction of the player. Any ideas?

How so?
just put a long raycast on both sides of the enemy and set them to detect the player
have the left racyast turn the enemy left and the right one flip the enemy right
this game is realy old but the nemy filps to face the player

If you don’t care if the player is in sight, you can get the X position of the Player and the X position of the enemy.
If the Enemy X > Player X, look left. Otherwise look right

Extraction with calculations is often more efficient. It honestly depends on the situation, but that method certainly can work.
You can also use simple math to determine if the player is far. If so, the code simply reverts to normal back and forth or idle.
