I just realized that meta knight just looks like a black Kirby with armour.
Because he is!
In the anime Meta Knight takes off his mask (or it falls off) at some point and it’s revealed that Meta Knight is an adult version of Kirby! Since Kirby is actually a baby and only says stuff like “Poyo!” and stuff while MK that speak full sentences and stuff.
