if he has the chaos emeralds. without them, he is just much faster than V1
but in terms with both games, V1 can actually reach similar speeds to sonic
in some ways, with a large arsenal of guns. however, with power ups, sonic
can very much gain the upper hand like with the various shields can block
(or deflect) bullets combined with the fire shield which can damage enemies.
Though without any sort of protection, sonic is doomed if he takes too much
bullets (which isn’t a lot) and the bullets fired from guns like the revolver are
much faster than any bullet so sonic can’t outrun them (if he even could.)

Sonic is faster then light.
Sonic theoretically cant actually die, he was in multiple near death occasions, also he cant bleed so v1 is screwed

also I heard somewhere that v1 is able to make any creature bleed WAY more than they are able too

plus Adam sonic can reach fast speeds quick right? V1 can be super fast but it has to build up slowly

Ahem, the boost. Aslong as sonic has rings he can boost infinitely. Also the wisps, sonic forces and sonic generations really just prove that sonic (aslong as he has rings in his area or wisps) hes ably to boost infinitely
